Returning for its 39th edition, the Upton Jazz Festival is our May Cover Star. From 26thβ28th June, the historic riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn transforms into a vibrant "Jazz City."
This year features a masterclass in variety, from the sophisticated sounds of Alan Barnes to the high-energy party vibes of the Upton Jazz Fringe.
The Music: 50+ performances including Traditional Jazz, Swing, Soul, and Ska.
The Legacy: A UK premier destination for nearly four decades, famous for the Saturday Umbrella Parade.
Full Line-up:
The festival takes over the entire town centre. While ticketed headline concerts are held at the Memorial Hall and the Baptist Church, the 8th Upton Jazz Fringe brings free-to-enter music to the town's historic pubs and gardens.

The Boathouse: Riverside jazz with stunning views.
Tudor House Museum: Atmospheric "Garden Gigs" in a historic setting.

Catering: Upton is packed with cafes and pubs. Full licensed bars are available at major venues.
