The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet part of the elegant East Cliff area. It’s just 500 yards from the unique Russell-Cotes museum, and a short walk from the town centre, cliffs and beach, making it a good location for exploring the popular seaside town of Bournemouth.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth has been popular as a seaside holiday resort for some two centuries and has a host of attractions and facilities. Look out for the many fine Victorian and Edwardian buildings of the town, including Langtry Manor House, built by Edward VII, then Prince of Wales, for his mistress Lillie Langtry. The town is renowned for its 2,000 acres of parks and gardens, the Central, Upper and Lower gardens some of its most famous. For art lovers, the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery includes an impressive collection of paintings and a well-known Japanese collection. Then of course there’s the pier, rebuilt in the 1970s, and entertainment venues including Bournemouth International Centre and the Bournemouth Pavilion. A little further afield lie the towns of Boscombe and Christchurch, the latter home to an attractive quay and an 11th-century Priory church, plus the famous UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast.
