Celebrate a milestone with the 25th Anniversary Summer Jazz Weekend at the family-owned Langstone Cliff Hotel. Hosted this year by internationally renowned showman and musician Kevin Grenfell, this landmark event brings the finest traditional and mainstream jazz to the stunning South Devon coast.

Meet the Bands

  • Langstone Chosen Five: A premier ensemble featuring top-tier musicians who set the tone for a high-quality jazz experience.

  • North Coast Buskers: Bringing a vibrant, soulful energy to the weekend, these performers are known for their engaging live sets and traditional roots.

  • Washington Whirligig: An organized and professional band from the Barnsley area, voted "Band of the Year" by Rochdale Jazz Club. They play everything from early New Orleans to driving mainstream jazz, swing, and blues with the "fire and drive" of their idols.

  • Kevin Grenfell’s Jazz Falcons: Led by Kevin Grenfell on trombone, trumpet, and vocals, this all-star group delivers a program of swing and traditional jazz interspersed with Kevin's signature humor.

  • Friday 3rd July:

    • 6:30pm – 8:00pm: Dinner served in the elegant Washington Ballroom.

    • 8:00pm – 11:00pm: Evening Session with the Langstone Chosen Five.

  • Saturday 4th July:

    • 12:30pm – 3:00pm: Lunchtime Session featuring the North Coast Buskers.

    • 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Country Buffet Lunch.

    • 6:30pm – 8:00pm: Dinner service.

    • 8:00pm – 11:00pm: Evening Session with Washington Whirligig.

  • Sunday 5th July:

    • 12:30pm – 2:00pm: Traditional Sunday Lunch.

    • 12:30pm – 3:00pm: Grand Finale session with Kevin Grenfell’s Jazz Falcons.
