Founded by acclaimed guitarist Joseph Trudgeon (Chris Barber Big Band), this dynamic cross-generational collective brings the fiery, unadulterated spirit of early New Orleans hot jazz to the stage. Specialising in the historic repertoire of King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton, and Kid Ory, the Troubadours champion an authentic 'one-mic' style—combining infectious syncopation, roaring collective brass improvisations, and modern swagger with authentic 1920s vintage flair.
