Great Parisian accordion, gypsy jazz and swing, "dirty" tango, Hungarian and Romanian gypsy tunes from the MARAMA CAFE BAND. Playing together for over 20 years with superb chemistry, skilled improvisation and slick arrangements Pete Watson (accordion), Frank Biddulph (violin), David Ahmed (guitar) and Rupert Gillett (bass) deliver music at the heart of the Quecumbar's raison d'etre. Collectively having performed or recorded with Vasile Stanescu, Julian Lloyd Webber, Alison Moyet, and Benoit Viellefon, and performed for clients including Alexei Sayle, Jude Law, Prince Phillip, and Madonna the band bring you uplifting music with sensitivity and energy.
