‘Gila Chaya’ means joy and life, which is at the heart of her music. Her duo brings a lively mix of Latin and Trad-Jazz with a touch of Ladino spice. Based in London, born in South African of German and Jewish Polish roots, she has played with acclaimed musicians in London and Rome. Her influences include Mercedes Sosa, Jack Teagarden and Avishai Cohen.
Tonight she will be performing with wonderful guitarist Guillermo Hill.
