Mark your calendars for the ultimate summer jazz getaway! The historic market town of East Grinstead transforms into a vibrant hotspot of syncopated rhythms, roaring brass, and world-class vocal harmonies for the East Grinstead Jazz Festival 2026.
Under the expert curation of celebrated jazz vocalist and radio broadcaster Jenny Green, the festival bridges the gap between elite international acts and a buzzing local community, utilizing historic venues, bustling high streets, and local hubs across town.
Featuring headline evening concerts, a bustling free Saturday Jazz Trail, hands-on interactive workshops, and a luxurious Sunday Jazz Lunch, this is an unmissable weekend for music lovers of all ages!
Friday 14th August: Gospel Workshop (6pm) followed by a Free Concert by Gospel Rising (7:30pm) at St Swithun's Church.
Saturday 15th August (Workshops & Headline): Vocal Workshop with Jennifer Maslin & Drum Workshop with Vince Dunn (10am at Glen Vue Hub). Evening Headline Concert: Jazz Africa: From Roots to Right Now! (7:30pm at St Swithun's Church).
Free Saturday Jazz Trail: Featuring The Sussex Stompers (10am, High Street), The Jive Aces (12pm, Middle Row), Julian Nicholas & Imogen Ryall (1pm, Old Dunnings Mill), George Trebar’s Nighthawks (3pm, The Crown), and Django Chutney (5pm, The Engine Room).
Sunday 16th August (Grand Finale): Paul Richards Latin Trio (11am at Carlo Lounge) followed by the Jazz Lunch with Jenny Green Quintet (1pm at Chequer Mead - Tickets £25).
